Natives

We’re thrilled to expand our offerings of native perennials in 2025 as we launch our native plants program. We have added over 50 species of native forbs, sedges, and grasses into production this year, but this is just the beginning. We’ll continue to work with our customers to develop this program more and more in the coming years. Regional provenance matters, and we strive to ensure that our native liners are sourced locally as much as possible. The majority of our native perennial liners originate within 50 miles of our Garden Prairie nursery. As part of our sustainability efforts, Mariani Plants is dedicated to using a balanced, integrative pest management approach when it comes to our growing practices. We also recycle all our plastic pots and trays, and continue to trial biodegradable growing containers in order to be at the forefront of the latest ecological advancements in our industry.
